Arjuna 0/10

Arjuna: Completed after 4 years of trying. Verdict: Why bother.

Character Designs 2/10: Didn't like 'em. Juna, the main character, has hideous hair.

Art consistency 9/10: The art is pretty consistent and I'm gonna forgive the sometimes crappy CG since this is a reasonably early attempt at it. The backgrounds are terrific and the character designs, while crappy, remain equally crappy throughout.

OP Theme 4/10: The OP changes I think and isn't in every episode as I recall. A forgettable song I skipped many times.

ED Theme 6/10: There are multiple themes and I'm too lazy to check how ofter they're repeated. I don't remember any of them being anything special.

Voice Acting (Japanese) 3/10: The main characters have Kansai accents and I didn't mind but they also sounded like amateurs. Not great. The little fire girl had a really annoying voice as well.

Story 0/10:  Girl gets powers to save the world from itself. Barely uses the powers and keeps getting ragged on for using them when she does. Even the Booster Gold gets more love from his own team. There's a romantic sub-plot between Juna and her boyfriend and it's interesting but there's no payoff at the end.

I hate the preachy condescending tone of this show. All the supposed "good guys" other than Arjuna and her boy toy are holier-than-thou jerks. This show has an annoying stance on everything from pesticides to nuclear power to even ABORTION! The story feels like it was written by the types of people who would have us all living off of berries and seeds in the woods while wearing nothing but cedar bark clothes. Fuck you Arjuna 0/10.
